How to help children transition back after lockdown

Helping children manage the tranistion after 18 months of lockdowns

After the third lockdown and many months of lost schooling, teachers in almost 3,000 schools were asked to score the physical and emotional impact of the pandemic on children.

The findings make for some pretty sad reading:
• 84% of schools judged that children had experienced a decline in fitness.
• 66% said that children had gained excessive weight.
• 67% recorded a regression of pupils’ fundamental skills and movement.
• 60% reported that the general wellbeing of pupils had regressed.

Although the impact has been horrific, at Razzamataz, we believe we can help children transition back with our supportive community. Whether you want your child to get fitter, improve their mental health or work on their confidence, our school is the place that they can find themselves again. Through our fun and high quality performing arts training in dance, drama and singing, children will improve every area of their physical and emotional health and fitness.

What your child will enjoy at Razzamataz Sheffield:
• Being physically active
• Helping to build confidence
• Learning new performing arts skills
• Building friendships
• Self-expression
• Communication skills
• Resilience
• Freedom to be an individual

Hear from our parents:
"My daughter joined Razzamataz about two years ago and despite not knowing anyone she came out of her first lesson beaming and said to me ‘I can’t believe how nice the teachers are and I had so much fun!’. Since then she’s gone from strength to strength and her confidence has grown massively which has been so lovely to see. The team are really welcoming and the communication with the parents is top notch. My daughter really looks forward to the sessions and I’d certainly recommend to any parent looking for a school where the children are encouraged, nurtured and celebrated."
Parent of Razzamataz Inter, age 9.
